Rare

I've been spending a tiny bit of time photographing rare Texas species that live out in the western part of the state.

It's pretty cool to get within these species niche habitat and photograph them on their own turf - or underwater in some places.

The politics of the threatened and endangered species legislation is complicated and I am no expert.  However, photographing these animals and appreciating them is something I can do to tell each of their unique stories.
