Thanks, Mike. I am a landowner in Fannin County and while I should be happy that I'll own land within half a mile of the lake (supposing that it isn't ultimately condemned through mitigation), too much is sacrificed in order for the lake to come to fruition.
I own land and will lose about 15 acres to the 100 year flood plan line. While I will then have lake front property, I do not support this project. I love the peaceful wilderness area and wildlife - that is why I purchased this land. I do not want to see the inevitable bait/beer (eventually I'll bet) stores and heavy traffic this reservior will bring. What a shame!
Great documentary you are making to show what will be lost - I wish ALL our commisioners would see it the way we do.
